Biosketch
Catherine Sheard is a Research Fellow working with Kevin Laland at the University of St Andrews on the evolution of bird nests. She received her DPhil in Zoology from the University of Oxford in 2016 and her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from Yale University in 2012. Prior to joining the Laland lab, Catherine was based in the EXCD lab at the University of Bristol, working with Fiona Jordan on the macroecology and macroevolution of human kinship systems.
