Nathalie Feiner is a postdoctoral research fellow in the group of Tobias Uller at Lund University, Sweden. Her background is in comparative genomics, with a focus on developmental genetics in a variety of vertebrate animals. After completion of her PhD, Feiner turned her interest towards organismal biology, and the mechanisms by which evolution occurs. Feiner currently works on Anolis lizards, a famous example of an adaptive radiation. Her research aims to include ecological, developmental and phylogenetic aspects in order to fully comprehend evolutionary history. A key focus of her work is the relationship between developmental processes and the course of evolution, in particular, how ontogenetic factors bias evolution, and how strong this influence is.
