Biosketch

Yoav Ram is a CEHG postdoctoral fellow in the Feldman Lab at Stanford University. He is a biologist with a special interest in evolutionary theory, population dynamics, and cultural evolution. He is also a mathematician who particularly likes applying probabilistic and statistical models to biological questions. Ram is a computational scientist who uses numerical and stochastic simulations, statistics, and data visualization. Finally, he is also a technical trainer who helps engineers and data scientists use Python for scientific computation and data science. Ram obtained his PhD in the Hadany Lab at Tel Aviv University and his BSc in math and biology also from Tel Aviv University.
